I'm a competitive BFL Northeast angler and engineer with over 20 years of technology experience. My passion lies in connecting cutting-edge technology with the timeless sport of bass fishing.
I believe in data-driven fishing strategies combined with hands-on, on-water experience. As a tournament competitor, I test every technique, tool, and theory on my own fishing trips before sharing it with you.
Everything here is tested on my own trips first.
Whether it's analyzing forward-facing sonar data, breaking down seasonal patterns, or crafting AI-powered fishing tools, my goal is to help anglers of all skill levels catch more bass through informed, strategic approaches.

BardeRodz is where engineering precision meets handcrafted performance. Founded by Brian, an engineer with a passion for bass fishing, BardeRodz delivers tournament-grade custom rods built to exact specifications.
Two Product Lines:
- BRED for Performance: Production rods offering premium components and performance at accessible prices (1-year warranty)
- Custom PRO: Fully handcrafted, custom-built rods designed for serious tournament anglers (3-year warranty)
BardeRodz is proud to partner with Brian Latimer's School of Fish (SUF School), bringing expert knowledge and proven techniques to every rod we build.
Kindlewood Cares
Kindlewood Cares is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to enriching lives through outdoor education and experiences.
Our mission is to introduce children to the joys of fishing and the great outdoors, fostering a lifelong connection with nature. We proudly partner with the Jimmy Fund to support children fighting cancer, providing them with positive outdoor experiences that bring hope, joy, and healing.
Through community partnerships, educational programs, and hands-on fishing events, Kindlewood Cares is committed to making a lasting impact—one child, one fishing trip, one memory at a time.
